Special Events were held at each pavilion every day throughout the Show.
Appeal of French Traditional Patisseries (Pavilion No.1)
Club de la Galette des Rois
Club de la Galette des Rois places an importance on appeal and culture of French traditional patisseries, including Galette des Rois and performs activities to pass them down to the next generation. At this corner, the history and culture of traditional patisseries and how to enjoy them will be introduced as well as joyful talk and demonstrative presentation will be held alternately by patissiers, boulangers and researchers of French patisseries who are the members of this club and representative of Japan. Please visit this corner.

A Contest for WPTC Delegates (Pavilion No.2)

At WPTC (World Pastry Team Championship) known as a contest of highest level in the world, Team Japan has accomplished a great feat and has been awarded vice-champion for its high-leveled technique and artistic quality consecutively in the third and fourth conventions. Delegates will be selected at the contest by higher-leveled judgment in order to achieve domination of the world at the next convention in 2010 as our desire. Please encourage Team Japan aspiring to become the next world champion.
Get together, people loving bread! (Pavilion No.3)
¡ÈSmile of The World with Bread Baking¡É Experience Corner
At this corner, visitors will be able get deep understanding and experience of bread baking and enjoyment of creation in association with All Osaka Bakery Cooperative Association. This corner provides visitors with experience in baking various bread created based on freewheeling thinking, demonstrative presentation by the members of the association, monument display for promoting public relations and so on. Baked bread will be served to visitors together with their families. Get together, people loving bread!
Hot Battle Among Iron Bakers & Espace Calvel Corner
Coupe Du Monde Contest (Pavilion No.4)

In preparation for Coupe Du Monde De La Boulangerie 2012 (Bakery World Cup), the final contest for selecting delegates representative of Japan will be held at MOBAC SHOW 2009. Team Japan, although they were close to a prize but missed the chance, is preparing to try again the next contest even harder. For this, severer judgment will be made for selection of delegates in order to appear them on a world big stage. Hot battle among iron bakers will be expected.
Moreover, in memory of the late Reimon Carvel ¡ÈMissionary of French Bread¡É, Espace Calvel Corner will be provided to demonstrative presentation by famous chefs.
Food Art & Traditional Skill
Skill Practice for Japanese Traditional Cakes (Pavilion No. 5)

Japanese Namagashi (unbaked cakes) that have been adding attractive colors to the livelihood of the people according to the seasonal change since ancient times are referred to as food art in Japan. In cooperation with Osaka Niroku-kai (Mr. Tomoji Nishio, the chairman) MOBAC SHOW this time will show a number of traditional skills of master-hands based on the theme ¡ÈQuality Japanese Namagashi in Four Seasons¡É. Participants in the workshop will have a chance of tasting. Do not hesitate to participate in the workshop.

Corner for German Bread and Confectionery Study Session (Pavilion No.5)

The German Bread and Confectionery Study Session was established for the purpose of promoting bread and confectionery of, for example, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and so on useful to enhancement of consumers health and food life. At this corner, in addition to display of works created by famous chefs who are the members of this session, public relations is performed for entry in the 2nd iba Cup to be held in 2009 at Dusseldorf, Germany.
