Seminar on Hokkaido-grown Adzuki Bean (at Makuhari Messe International Conference Hall)
To be held from 13:30กม16:30 on the 17th (Thu) of Feb.
A seminar on Hokkaido-grown Adzuki bean indispensable for making Japanese-style confectionery (Wagashi) will be held in order to know all about Hokkaido-grown Adzuki bean, including situation of production and import, demand and supply and prospect, breeding of Adzuki bean and characteristics and quality of breed variety, nutritional ability and functionality, key points for making delicious bean jam, and others.

School Plaza (Hall No.4)
A school plaza will be set up especially for visitors who aim at being a food engineer of tomorrow with the collaboration of well-known bakery and confectionery schools. Twelve schools will participate in the exhibition and provide detailed explanation and pamphlets of the respective schools.

A Trial for WPTC Delegates
At WPTC (World Pastry Team Championship) known as a contest of highest level in the world, Team Japan has accomplished a great feat as a group victory that has been earnestly desired.
Aiming at achieving consecutive domination at the next convention in 2010, delegates will be selected at the trial by higher-leveled judgment. Please take notice of a heated battle among players aiming at the world champion of the next generation.

Event Stage for Bread (Hall No. 8)
Big Assembly of World Conference of Bread
Demonstrative presentation will be provided every day on the main stage by persons involved in world-famous international bakery conferences (iba Cup and Coup Du Monde) and masters from German Academy.
Moreover, on the sub-stage, the Japanese delegates of Coup Du Monde 2012 will show their training (demonstrative presentation) for a preliminary contest to be held in China next year.
Please give your vocal supports for players aiming at appearing on the stage of the major contest.
