In February 2006, two young patissieres (female patissier) won a first place and a second place, respectively,
at The 12th International Contest of Junior Confectionery Technical Experts held in Germany by UIPCG
(Union Internationale De La Patisserie-Confiserie Glacerie, which made the world aware of the
high-leveled technique and large population of the Japanese patissiers. At MOBAC SHOW2007,
those patissieres will unveil their techniques and at the same time the details of the contest will
be introduced as a gateway to professionals.
